Glenda M. Kessick, 67, of Ashland, Ky passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born April 20, 1949 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Henry Lee and Freda Nash Sadler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers James Sadler and Jeff Sadler; step brother Ira Webb, Jr; and step dad Ira Webb, Sr. She is survived by her husband James J. Kessick; three children Leca (William) Thompson, Jerald Kessick and Melissa (Rob) Roy; ten grandchildren William Jay Thompson, Sarah Hamlin, Seth Thompson, Noah Thompson, Mary E. Kessick, Jereld Michael Kessick, Cassandra Chaffin, Shea Trimble, Kayla Lewis and Cody Roy; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren on the way Baby Quinn and Baby Kessick; four sisters Rosemary Gallion, Francis McGuire, Eda C. “Cookie” Jenkins and Fostina Love; two brothers Henry Lee “Jack” Sadler and John Webb; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Dale Barnett and Pastor Tom Belville officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, Ky. Visitation will be held 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
