My favorite is going to the inauguration of President Clinton on a bus with the West Virginia Democratic Women. It was freezing and a policeman let us sit on the park benches in front of the memorial. We were wrapped in space blankets (not my idea) but I was cold. It was glorified Tinfoil. We were in the newspaper.always an adventure. Then Sharon had to go to the insurance agency in Barboursville and she told us to go to the antiques shop. Well it said antiques, do we knocked and this little man opened his window above the door and said YESS!! We told him we wanted to look at his aniques. He let us in and we couldn't find the doorstop get out because it was plastered with different types of pins and cards and anything old. It took us a hr to get that old man to let us out of there. We were laughing so hard when we picked Sharon up, she just looked at us and said that wasn't the place she said to go. Too late but it was an adventure we still thought about and would laugh at even more now. We will always remember her and our outings at the restaurants with our other work friends. We love you Glory ❤️ Go rest High on that mountain.
Gloria and I known each other since school. I thank God for the friendship we had together. She was always full of life and a lot of fun to be around. I know in her adult life she had a lot of health problems and suffered from them. I know now she is at peace and with God. To all her family my thoughts and prayers are with y'all. She will be missed by family and friends.
