Gloria J Rickman's Obituary
GLORIA J. RICKMAN, 66, of Lisbon, Ohio, formerly of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at Salem Hospital from a lengthy illness of M.S. Born May 30, 1950 in South Point, Ohio, she was the daughter of Willard and Betty (Brogan) Rickman. She was the adopted daughter of the late Ermal Johnson. Gloria was a veteran of the United States Navy. She was employed at Marshall University in the payroll Dept. as an accountant. She was the past president of the Marshall University Staff Council and she was a member of the V.F.W. American Legion Post 16. Gloria made her home with her sister, Gladys Arnold and special niece, Crystal Arnold of Lisbon; also surviving are her sisters, Thelma (Don) Leport of East Liverpool, Helen Gardner of South Point; two brothers, Vernon Brown of Huntington, W.Va., William "Rick" (Flo) Brown of Greenup, Kentucky; aunt Patty of Florida; and nieces and nephews, Tater, Eric, Teresa, Jimmy, Lisa, Rochelle, Buddy, Dawnyelle, D.J. and Tammy.. The family sincerely thanks the staff at Salem Hospital and Crossroads Hospice Care for their wonderful care; and also a very special thanks to Cristine Davis, her Home Health Aide and the Ohio Valley Aides. . Visitation will be 11 AM to Noon Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 12 PM.
