Goldie Merritt Lee's Obituary
GOLDIE MERRITT LEE, 82, of South Point, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 22, 2015, in Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Michael Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery, Rutland, OH. Goldie was born November 17, 1932, in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Otto and Delcie Hale Merritt. She was a homemaker and attended First Southern Baptist Church in South Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Lee; her brother, Howard Merritt; and two step-sons, Richard Lee and Robert H. Lee. Goldie is survived by her siblings, Lola Ditello, Arval Merritt, Joyce Anderson, Arthur Merritt, Nola Riggs, Margaret Brinegar, and Ethel Adkins; two step-daughters, Linda Fain and Sherry Mays; and several nieces and nephews.
