Gordon "Bub" Watts Black, Jr's Obituary
Gordon “Bub” Watts Black, Jr., 60, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at home. He was born July 11, 1959 in Huntington, WV. He was a mechanic until his disability made it impossible for him to work. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret “Sissy” Black. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Adkins Black; his father Gordon Black; three children Tamara Black, Crystal (Jason) Cooper, Dustin Black; five grandchildren Madison, Holden, Seven, Caleb, and Matthew; two sisters Rhonda (Johnny) Noble, Sherry (Dave) Pelphrey; two special cousins Ray Leffingwell and Dale Lucas; and a special friend Ron Holley. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wesbanco 307 State Street, Proctorville, OH 45669 c/o Evelyn Black.
