Gregory (Greg) A. Lovejoy, 66, died peacefully at his home Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Huntington, WV. He was born on May 9, 1959, in New London, Connecticut. Greg worked in construction for most of his life. He was ready to help a friend in need and would teach them how to do the job as well, whatever they needed. Greg enjoyed "people watching" from the front porch, while having a beer and smoking a cigarette. People were always stopping by to visit him. He had an abundance of friends who all call him a "Good Guy". Greg was preceded in death by his father Dallas A. Lovejoy; his son Adam Lovejoy; and his nephew Damian Lovejoy. Greg is survived by his mother Ada F. Guinn; siblings Ladena Morgan and Anthony Lovejoy; and his two sons Jeremy Lovejoy (Misty) and Joshua Lovejoy (Nikki). Greg will be greatly missed by many. Per his request, there will be no services. Schneider-Hall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
