Harold Leo Clay 1938 - 2016
Harold Leo “Jerry” Clay, 78, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born April 8, 1938 in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Frank and Marcella McQuaid Clay; and two sisters Linda Estep and Barbara Ellen Clay. He is survived by his wife Fran Clay; three sons Rick Clay, Bobby Clay and Marty Clay; one daughter Diana Carroll; two step daughters Tonia Harbour and Tammie Ward; one step-son Shawn Ward; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He retired from Cabell Huntington Hospital with 43 years of service. He liked to hunt and go to car shows. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Harold Hamlin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the funeral home.
