What a good-spirited, courageous, and honorable person Harold was. I always felt he was stronger than life...a tough cat that was always in happy spirits when I saw him. I was fond of his father as well. I felt much joy when I would see him and Harold Moore Sr. sitting on his front porch while on my walks. I always enjoyed hearing stories and memories about them growing up and the saga's that him, and other family members had. I always left energized and felt it was a blessing to hear them speak and to have time with them. Like his father, he had a great memory and was passionate about many things including our family history. Whenever I saw him on his father's porch Max was always by his side. Max is his guiding light, absolutely. Max and Harold, you are both part of my positive child-hood memories and were a relief or a joy for me. Thank you for being great people. Miss you Harold. I hope you have a peaceful journey.
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."

A good, loving man is no longer here on earth and is now in heaven. Harold Warren Moore, (my cousin) husband of Maxine Moore peacefully passed over Oct. 30th in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
He and Max helped me through some serious emotional times this year and I am forever grateful. I Love them both.
Son of my Uncle Hoot, Harold Moore Sr. and Aunt Saffie, Janet Moore, he was the same age as my younger brother Brian who has told me many memories of their times together. Being in the service, I missed some of those times.
I, as others was amazed at how much family history he knew and could recall in a snap...I knew cousin Bubby as a strong, honest, hard-working man willing to help someone in need. I saw how much he loved his critters as I lived with them shortly and later living nearby. His illness came too quick and took us all by surprise.
Sometimes you can only sit and wonder why God calls people home when they pass. I will miss him. I truly believe he is in Gods Hands above.... God grant peace and comfort to all his family.
Take care Bub... see you later Cuz...
