Harry Joe Marks' Obituary
Harry J. Marks, 72, of Wayne WV, passed away on June 28, 2022 at home following an extended illness. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Vanessa Ross Marks. He was preceded in death by his parents Toy Doy and Effie Matthews Marks, two brothers Paul & Harold Marks; and one sister Norma Jean Marks. He is survived by one sister and brother in law Mildred and Richard Burke and his life long friend Bill Foster. Harry was a heavy equipment mechanic for 40 plus years working all over the United States. He was often teased about having "yellow blood" because of his love for Caterpillar equipment. He loved life, the outdoors, to fish & hunt. He loved to garden and often shared with his neighbors and church family. His greatest accomplishment was when he gave his life to Jesus and was baptized. He never hesitated telling others about his Jesus. He was a member of 20th Street Baptist Church of Kenova WV, member of Buena Vista Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. The family would like to thank Dr. Snyder, Mary, Brandi, Buddy, Julie, John, Brady, Greg, Tammie and Doodle and special neighbors Greg, Cindy, Marvin and Selena for all of the help with Harry's care. He will be deeply missed.
