Helen Louise Freeman's Obituary
Helen Louise Freeman, 91, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her home. Born on August 16, 1933, in Lawrence County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lena Gunther Akley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph David Freeman; 2 brothers, J.D. Akley and Doc Akley, and 3 sisters, Mae Stephenson, Grace Williams, and Pauline Blankenship. Helen is survived by her children, Danny (Beverly) Freeman and Tammy (Mark) Shimamoto; grandchildren, Andrea Parrott, Britney Chong, and Travis Shimamoto, and 6 great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Getaway Cemetery in Chesapeake, Ohio, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb, officiating.
