Helen E. Gosselin McConnell's Obituary
Helen E. Gosselin McConnell, 92, of Pedro, Ohio passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at Harbor Healthcare, Ironton, Ohio. She was born July 27, 1927 in Ironton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen T. McConnell; her mother Roxy Vencill Gosselin; her father Laurent Gosselin; her brother Laurant A.Gosselin; her sister Joyce Ann Gosselin; her sisters-in-law Joann Gosselin and Herta Gosselin. She is survived by two sons David McConnell and Stephen (Susan) McConnell; one grandson Michael D. Prater; two brothers William Gosselin and Robert (Janice) Gosselin; and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Ohio University. She was a teacher for several years in Ohio, Florida and Georgia. Helen was a member of Etna Baptist Church in Pedro, Ohio. Helen’s favorite hobby was gardening which she spent many hours in her garden. Helen loved life and will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Northeast, Greenup County, KY with Pastor Greg Frasure officiating.
