Helen Zeva Killen's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helen Gore Killen, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 86.
Born on August 6, 1938 in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Guy and Lona Gore. She grew up and lived in Logan, WV and later moved to Huntington, WV and then to Proctorville, OH.
Helen Gore Killen was always the highlight of family gatherings. She had a natural talent for storytelling. For many years her house was the center for family and friend gatherings.
She is survived by her children, Rick White of Tyler, Texas, Pamela Saultz of Athens, TN, Todd Killen of Huntington, WV and Josh Killen of Canton, OH. Nine grandchildren, Joel Savage, Kyle Savage, Justin Savage, Tyler Saultz, Caitlyn (Marcus) Stone, Ty Killen, Steven Killen, Peyton Parker, and Abigail Killen who will miss her dearly. Brother, Simon D. Gore of South Point, OH. Two sisters, Jenny (Pete) Jeffrey and Lana (Larry) Randan both of Proctorville, OH.
A private funeral service will be held for family members on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Burial will be at Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller, OH. Rest in peace, dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
