Helen Marie Sergent's Obituary
Helen Marie Sergent, 66, of South Point, OH passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born September 12, 1957, in Marion, OH. She was a retired nurse from Sanctuary of The Ohio Valley Nursing Home in Ironton, OH. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Patricia Erwin Hanshaw, and one brother, Donald Hanshaw Jr.
Helen is survived by two sons; Joey (Miranda) Lewis and Michael Lewis (Drew Naftzger); four grandchildren, Adreanna (Billy) Newcomb, Shaylin Lewis, Barbie (Josh) Carpenter, Aspyn Naftzger-Lewis and two great grandchildren, Autumn Newcomb and Bryleigh Carpenter. She also leaves behind a sister, Vickie Gentry and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory of Proctorville, OH is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
