Herman Darrell Newman's Obituary
Herman Darrell Newman, 73, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington. Born on March 7, 1952, in Huntington, he was the son of the late Granville and Mary Pemberton Newman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brothers, Jackie Newman and John Lawson. Herman was a retired crane operator from the Nickel Plant and was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Anna Newman; sons, John Newman of Chesapeake, OH, Michael (Tiffany) Newman of Coal Grove, OH, and his grandchildren, Olivia and Bryson Newman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M.
