Homer Keeney's Obituary
Homer Keeney, 83 of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 7, 2026. He was born May 3, 1942, in Huntington, WV to the late Everette and Lillian Marie (White) Keeney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Bernard Keeney, Leland Keeney, and Larry Keeney all from Chesapeake, Ohio. Homer served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the V.F.W Post 6878, Proctorville, Ohio and was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Helen Keeney; Son; Brent (Anna) Keeney from Pace, FL; Grandchildren Breanna (Dalton) Simpler and Chance Keeney; one brother Ron (Janie) Keeney; Four sisters Lucille (Allan) Collins, Naomi (David) Johnson, Loretta (Tom) Claytor, and Brenda (Chuck) Maxey; Three sisters-in-laws Garnet Keeney, Judy Keeney, and Peggy Keeney. A graveside service will be held at 12 P.M. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. There will be no visitation.
