Howard Dempsey's Obituary
Howard Dempsey (82) of Scottown, OH went home to be with the Lord on June 5, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Elsie Dempsey; daughter Beverly Dempsey; his mother and father, Dow and Lucy Dempsey; Goldie Walters (twin sister); Dow Dempsey Jr. (brother); Grace Campbell (sister); Carlos Stroud (brother); and Nancy Kohlas (sister). He is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Heather) Dempsey of Chesapeake, OH and David Dempsey of Chesapeake, OH; his grandchildren, Mandi (Jessica) Dempsey of Huntington, WV, Randall Dow Demspey Steele (Megan) of Huntington, WV, Sarah Dempsey and Lucy Dempsey of Chesapeake, OH; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Addalynn, and Ezekiel. He is also survived by Mary (Bobbie) Campbell of Aron Lake, OH; Betty Dempsey of Proctorville, OH; three special nephews, Lee, Mike, and Howard Dempsey; and a large number of family and friends. He was an extremely loving father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed. Service will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH with Pastor Harold Hamlin officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
