Imogene Rogers' Obituary
Imogene "Rose" Rogers, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday morning, September 14, 2024. Rose, also known as Rosalie, was born Imogene Huffman in Wheelwright, KY, on January 13, 1932. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years James Rogers and her parents Winfield Huffman and Cora Johnson Huffman. She is survived by her children, Greg, Michael, Tawnya, Billy, and Eddie; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and many friends and family who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Greater Love Temple in Burlington, Ohio, with Bishop T. Andrew Aiken, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 12:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, Ohio.
