Ireland Glen Thompson's Obituary
Ireland Glen Thompson, 83, of Ceredo, WV, passed away Tuesday November 2, 2021 at home. He was born July 23, 1938 in Logan, WV to the late Charlie and Grace Marie Reynolds Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son Ireland Glen Thompson II; and eleven siblings, Helen Hyder, Charles Adkins, Pete Thompson, Cecil Thompson, Dolly Thompson, Rena Compnotta, Dallas Thompson, Mack Thompson, Harold Thompson, Terry Thompson and Ernie Thompson. He is survived by his son Glen (Kim) Thompson; daughter Teresa Thompson; life partner Susie Shockley; 6 grandchildren Grace Thompson, Alexander Thompson, Steve Bartos, Josh Christie, Mary Christie, and Mimi Baaub; two siblings Kenneth (Sue) Thompson of Columbus, Ohio and Eugene (Ruth) Thompson of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association for research https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=32112&32112.donation=form1.
