Irene Fay Burns' Obituary
Irene Fay Burns, 83, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at home. She was born August 23, 1934 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Ercle and Irene May Bailey Chinn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Burns; one son Jackie Burns, Jr,; two daughters Claudia Adkins and Lucretia Apel; three grandsons Russell Adkins, Jr., James Burns and Jason Burns; one brother Ercel Eugene Chinn; and one sister Mildred Blake. She is survived by three sons Marty (Kathy) Burns, William (Rebecca) Burns and Tommy (Michelle) Jackson all of Chesapeake, Ohio; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; three brothers Vernon Chinn of Proctorville, Ohio, Homer Chinn of Chesapeake, Ohio and Pete Chinn of Missouri; four sisters Louise Davis of Huntington, WV, Mona Schuff of Ona, WV, Tori Faulkner of Ironton, Ohio and Ruth Crank of Cross Lanes, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to Hospice including Skeeter and Chad. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
