Irene McComas' Obituary
IRENE McCOMAS, 82, of South Point, OH, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born March 15, 1931, in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter of the late Otis Edgar and Cora Faulkner McComas. She was a former cook for Marshall University. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Charles, Carl, and Edgar McComas, Ethel Mann, Mary Chapman, and Darlene Rowe. Irene is survived by her two daughters, Diane Schneider and Joann Stephens; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Audrey Cantrell. Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM Wednesday July 17, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH.
