Irene Taylor's Obituary
Irene Neal Taylor, 78, of Huntington, WV, passed away on August 19, 2024, after a well-fought battle with cancer. Irene retired from the VA Hospital in Huntington, WV, where she worked as a nurse. She attended Marshall University, receiving an Associate of Science in Nursing (1986), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1993). She attended South Point High and Huntington High Schools, graduating in 1964. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Helen Neal, and her husband Michael Taylor. She is survived by her children Michael (Marlena) and Matthew, and her grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Warren, Philip (Stacy and Zaydee), Olivia, and "Alex" Stephen, and many extended family members and friends. A private family service will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.
