Jack E Myers' Obituary
Jack Myers, 91, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, and went home to be with the Lord. He was born on April 18, 1935, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Wilbur E. Myers and Alice Myers. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Margaret Myers; his parents; and his two brothers, Richard Myers, and Daniel Myers. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Mark (Barbara) Myers; his daughter, Jacqueline Casto; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Allison) Myers, Eric (Jodi) Myers, Jillian (Bryan) Pate, and Jason (Michelle) Casto; and his six great-grandchildren, Alexis Myers, McKenna Myers, Lainey Myers, Brenley Myers, Emma Pate, and Graham Pate. He is also survived by his loving sister, Marilyn (Clifford) Phillips, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He worked as an inspector at the Huntington Alloy plant and later completed his working years serving others as an EMT. Jack found great joy in the outdoors, especially hiking and camping. He was gifted with his hands and loved carving wooden birds. Above all, Jack loved the Lord and was a devoted member of New Life Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, kindness, faith, and love for family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Private family services will be held.
