Jack Owen Stormes, Jr. 1977 - 2017 Jack Owen Dale Stormes, Jr., 40, of Coal Grove, Ohio passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lou and Bill Curnell, Sr. and paternal grandparents Ruth and Henry Stormes. He is survived by his wife Nicole Stormes and his two children Austin and Destiny, who he loved dearly; parents Jack Owen Stormes, Sr. and Jody Stormes; brothers Andy (Becky) Stormes, and Travis (Sam) Stormes; sister Janel (Patrick) Rose; brothers-in-law Scott (Jennifer) Steele, Tommy (Mandy) Steele, Jake (Taylor) Steele, Josh (Teanna) Stelle, Ralph (Ashley) Howard; sisters-in-law Wendy (Tony) Carver and Becky Steele; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Jack was a member of Jeffersonville Missionary Baptist Church of Coal Grove. He loved God, his family and friends and Ohio State football. He was a Hornet and has always cheered them on. His greatest joy was taking his kids to their games with his wife and standing on the side yelling and cheering them on. He was a happy guy, who didnt know a stranger and could make anyone laugh. He told outrageous stories and had a laugh that can bring a smile to anyones face. Anyone that knew Jack knew they had a friend. Funeral service will be conducted 12 Noon Saturday December 9, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Cemetery, Kitts Hill, Ohio.
