Jackie Lee Blake's Obituary
Jackie Lee Blake, 76, of South Point, Ohio, passed away on December 17, 2024, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on March 5, 1948, to the late Leo and Lucy Blake. He was also preceded in death by his brother Mike Blake. Jackie is survived by his wife Donna Blake of South Point, Ohio, daughters Candi Martin of Sorrento, Florida, Letitia (Robert) Fox of South Point. Ohio, and son Sam Harbarger of South Point, Ohio, four brothers Tom (Debbie) Blake of Arizona, Don (Diana) Blake of Crown City, Ohio, Rick (Janie) Blake of Chesapeake, Ohio, Larry (Rita) Thompson of Huntington, West Virginia, two sisters Pat Ward of South Point, Ohio and Phyllis Hite of Chesapeake, Ohio, seven grandchildren Zayn (Jessica) Smith of South Point, Ohio, Jonny Riner of Huntington, West Virginia, Jasmine (Jon) Johnson of South Point, Ohio, Dylan Kelley of Michigan, Robert Fox Jr. of South Point, Ohio, Aliesha Fox of South Point, Ohio, Dontae Blake of South Point, Ohio, two great grandchildren Lea and Bella, and a host of nieces and nephews. Jackie Loved his family and friends. He had a heart of gold for anyone he came across. He worked at Marshall University for several years and loved his job. He was a Vietnam veteran, member of the VFW post 1064, and member of Rockwood Baptist Church. Jackie Blake will be missed by his family and friends. His service will be held on Monday December 23, 2024, with the visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM and the service starting at 2:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Jamie Mosley and Dana Cornell, officiating.
