Jackie Lee Clay's Obituary
Jackie Lee Clay, 88, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born on March 21, 1934, in Lincoln Co, WV, to the late William Henry Clay and Sarah Elvira Merritt Clay. He was also preceded in death by grandchildren Brandon Clay and Chrissi Marie Holland; daughters-in-law Sheri Clay and Rhonda McKeny; three brothers Charlie, Shorty, and Wilson (Clay); and five sisters Jane Beckelheimer, Ruby Dazzo, Annie Edwards, Lilly Adkins, and Goldie Branch. He was a retired Locksmith from Sniders. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Fern Lee Clay; four sons Johnny (Teresa), Dwayne, Danny, and Rodney (Kristy) Clay; one daughter Nancy Wilks (Eddie); three daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister Marge Bledsoe; ten step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Delmer Adkins officiating. Burial will follow the service in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
