Jackie Lee Nichols' Obituary
Jackie L. Nichols, 72, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday June 13, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born March 20,1954 in Huntington, WV to the late Robert Jack and Norma Mae Mitchell Nichols. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Bobby Nichols; grandson Dakota Allen Nichols; and sister Tanza Ingram. He retired from Claytor’s Body Shop where he built and restored old cars and trucks. He also worked at the Rich Station in Proctorville, Webbs trucking working on big trucks, Henderson’s Garage and Wrecker Service, the Car wash in Huntington, and Dick Smith’s Garage. Jackie is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Pamela S. Nichols; one son Raymond Nichols; one brother Robert Nichols; three grandchildren Alex Lee Nichols, Kierra Dawn Nichols, and Dylan Cole Nichols. He enjoyed putting his 57 Chevy in car shows and won several trophy’s. He also enjoyed going to the flea market to trade guns and knives. He truly enjoyed most of his time being with family. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday June 19, 2026 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Harold Hamlin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.
