Jackson "J.C." Walls' Obituary
Jack Walls “J.C.”, 89, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born on April 3, 1936, in Logan County WV to the late Charles Simmie and Mary Kathleen Walls. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters Judith Walls Harmon, Charlene Walls Lusk, and Harriett Walls Scott; three brothers Johnny Mack Walls, Larry Allen Walls, and Randall Noel Walls. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a bus driver for the Ohio River Transportation System in Huntington and surrounding areas. He was a school bus driver for Dawson Bryant School District in Lawrence County Ohio. He was a pressman for the Herald Dispatch for 35 years. He was a member of the Apostolic Life Cathedral in Huntington West Virginia. He is held in loving memory by his wife of 42 years Sharon Nance Walls; his 4 children, 2 daughters Demetria (Paul) Patterson and Diana (Gregory) Ross; 2 sons Jackie (Toni) Walls and Eddie Ray (Julie) Mylar; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, August 29, 2025, at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church in Huntington, WV, with Bishop E.S. Harper officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be held at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church one hour prior to service. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
