Jacob Keandre Coleman's Obituary
Jacob Keandre Coleman, 29, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on July 3, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Jacob was born on December 31, 1996, to Stacey Mestel and Julian Coleman. Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joe Coleman, and his beloved brother, Devante Marable. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend whose kind heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Jacob was known for his infectious smile that could light up any room and for his warm, caring personality. He had a way of making others laugh and feel welcome, and his presence brought joy wherever he went. Jacob cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassionate heart, his sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. Although his life was far too short, the love he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving mother, Stacey Mestel; his father, Julian Coleman; his little sister, Jordin Coleman; his sister-in-law, Ashley Marable; his paternal grandmother, Janella Coleman; his maternal grandmother, Mary Mestel; and his maternal grandfather, Brett Layne. He also leaves behind his beloved niece, Mya Marable, who loved her Uncle Jacob with all her heart, and his nephew, Taurean May. Jacob is also survived by a special host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends, including his uncle, Craig Mestel, all of whom will miss him beyond words. While our hearts are broken by Jacob's passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love he gave so freely and the memories he created will live on forever. His beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. Forever Loved, Forever Missed, Forever Remembered. A funeral service will be held at 12 P.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Huntington, WV. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington, WV. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
