JAMES PAUL "JIM" ADKINS, 56, of South Point, OH, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Funeral service will be 1 PM Friday, November 20, 2015, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Burlington, OH. Jim was born October 28, 1959, in Huntington, WV, a son of James Bruce Adkins and the late Virginia Ruth McDonald Adkins. He was a self-employed construction worker. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Sue Adkins. Jim is survived by his wife, Sharon McGinty Adkins; his son, Cullen Adkins; his daughter, Chelsea Adkins; his brothers, John "Butch" Adkins, Jesse Adkins, and Justin Adkins; his sister, Teresa Gibson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 1 PM Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.
