James "Chip" Ernest Nolan, 71, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Tuesday June 9, 2026 at home. He was born March 19,1955 in Huntington, WV to the late Remus and Nellie Nolan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings Teressa, Seena, Rob, and Kathy. He is survived by four children Billy (Tiffny) Nolan, Teressa (David) Hager, Andrea (Jeremy) McBride, and Alicia (Toney) Brown; two siblings Remes Nolan and Roxie (Ivan) Brumfield; eight grandchildren Emma, Kodey, Shelby, Derek, Jacob “Dirt”, Jack, Mick, and Andrew. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
