James Calvin Crum's Obituary
James C. Crum "JC" 86, of South Point Ohio peacefully passed away July 16, 2024, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Born on October 2, 1937, he was the son of the late James and Nanny Crum. James was a US Army veteran who proudly served his country. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Brookie Baisden and Mary Richardson. James is survived by two sons, James Jr (Teresa) Crum, DeWayne (Melanie) Crum; four grandchildren Cheryl (Joey) McMaster, Drew Crum, Jeremiah (Kayleigh) Crum and Brianna Crum: three sisters, Thelma Mills, Angelene Stewart and Dianne Crum; three brothers, Harold, Herschel, and Tommy Crum. He leaves behind many loved and cherished nieces, nephews, special friends and a fur buddy named Jebby, whom he loved to visit and spoil with treats. He loved the outdoors, gardening, cutting grass and long walks in the woods. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, Ohio. Military graveside rites will follow the visitation and be held at Noon on July 18, 2024, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast Grayson, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James' honor to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
