Birth date: Feb 26, 1952 Death date: May 25, 2025
James “Jim” Otto Daniels, of South Point, OH passed away from Earth into the arms of Jesus suddenly and unexpectedly in the early morning hours on Sunday, May 25th, 2025. He was born February 26, 1952, to late Otto and Delores Dan Read Obituary

Praying for you during this time.
Jim's presence is already so greatly missed here at the YMCA. He always had a smile on his face and did not know a stranger. It was a pleasure to know him. He will be missed by his YMCA family.
I worked with Jim decades ago. He was a a wonderful person and I was grateful that my son attended the same church as he did…
Saddened to read of Jim's passing. It's been many years since the late '60s /early 70's , but I fondly remember Jim at both at both Huntington East High School and The Highlawn Baptist Church we attended together. Every time Jim would see me he would always have a smile and something complimentary and uplifting to say like " you played a great game Friday Night " or, " Lookin' Sharp !" ,....always something to make others feel confident and good about themselves . I also read where Jim had a happy and productive life in Christ . What a Victory!

Jim Daniels and I met a long time ago,I was talking about my cousin John,Freddie, & Richard who lived in Marietta Ga… Jim’s eyes got really big he said I have cousins by those names who live in Marietta, Ga. I said what’s the last name he said Lewis, I said those are my cousins their Dad and their Dad are first cousins. Jim said Juanita is my aunt.. Even tho Jim and I weren’t related when we ran into each other we woul say Hi Cousin! It’s funny how many people through out your life you meet and you might be related.
I’m so sorry about his death, Jim was a nice person and I’m sure he will be missed by a lot of people.
Rest in Peace Jim, I’ll see on the other side one day!!
So very sorry for your loss . Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
