James William Evans, II's Obituary
James William Evans, II, 70 of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Friday June 16, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 10, 1953, in Huntington, WV to the late James William Sr. and Grace Elizabeth Moore Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Argle Wesley Evans and Jeffrey Evans. He is survived by his daughter Leigh Anne Evans; granddaughter Sophia Grace Conner; sister Laura (Rodney) Deskins of Proctorville; brother Jason (Teresa) Evans of N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. He was a River Boat Captain for 45 years and a brother of The FRMO. He was a Master Mason and member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F & AM and Proctorville O.E. S. #257. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 24, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with a final ride to his final resting place at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday June 23, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Masonic services and Easter Star Services at 7:30 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
