James Calvin Horner's Obituary
James Calvin Horner, 69, of Ironton went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Veteran's Hospital in Huntington WV. He was born September 15, 1949 in Scioto County and was the son of the late Clyde Horner and Alice Mann Horner. He was a retired commercial roofer and Vietnam veteran. Survivors include his wife Sherma Horner of Ironton, Ohio; Siblings, John Conley, David Horner, Burl Horner, Randall Horner, Mike Horner, Wanda Cremeans, Linda Williams, and Shelby Horner. He was proceeded in death by siblings Ellis Conley, JC Conley, Annlee Hager, and Jean Covert. He was also very much loved by all of his children Bill and Kristi Brammer, Mike and Trish Mills, Trisha Combs, Lisa Darnell, and Haley Horner. He also thought the world of his grandchildren Brianna (Craig) Neal and Doug (Bre) Brammer, Brice, Cheyenne, Kyle, Tori, Kandence, Keegan, Sam, Elizabeth, and Kylie. His great grandchildren included Emma (his little ray of sunshine), Lane, Blake, Caden, Addie, Paisley, and Brendan. Also lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Calvin was a great family man and loved all of his family. He will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 4pm at Kelly's Bridge Independent Baptist Church in Ironton, OH (Next door to their home).
