James “Shawn” Nance, 57, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Monday July 14, 2025. He was born October 29, 1967, in Huntington, WV. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Jerreal Simpson Nance. He is survived by his wife, Mindy Nance; daughter, Cassandra Nance and fiancé, Doug Young; sisters, Lisa Nance, Tara (James) Wolford, and Lori Nance; brothers, Jeff (Wendy) Nance and Jeremy (Michelle) Nance; several nieces and nephews; several cousins. He was an U.S. Army Reserve Veteran. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
