Janice Lee Hayslip's Obituary
Janice Lee Hayslip, 82, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Born on July 25, 1942 in Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Audrey Bennett Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Miller; brother, Donald Edwards; her first husband, Ralph Bailey, Sr. and second husband, Victor Hayslip. Janice is survived by her daughters, Melanie Rice, Estulena Viars, Audrey Willard Owens, and Tammy Carter; son, Ralph Bailey Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Brady Lipscomb, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
