Janice Clark Robateau's Obituary
Janice Clark Robateau entered into Heaven on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born on August 30, 1943, in Culloden, WV, she was the cherished daughter of the late Maxine Wallace. Janice was the devoted wife of the late Ruperto “Rupy” Robateau, with whom she shared 33 wonderful years. Rupy was her “Dear” and she was his “Darling.” Janice retired from Bell-Atlantic/C&P Telephone Company after more than 30 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and love of animals. Janice is survived by her son, Nicholas Robateau, and his wife, Cortney, from Huntersville, NC. She was also a proud grandmother to Jackson Robateau, who brought immense joy to her life. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Janice’s friend and special caregiver, Ruth Bartram, for her years of devotion and assistance.
A visitation to celebrate Janice’s life will be held on Monday, March 10th, at 10:30am at Schneider Hall Funeral home. A Private Family Graveside Service will held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Move for Jenn Foundation in honor of Cortney. Janice will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
