Janice Hamlin Wilkes' Obituary
On Friday, December 7, 2018 at 5:20 P.M, Janice Hamlin-Wilkes, born October 9, 1955, left her earthly home to go join her Heavenly father. She is survived by her spouse Carl Wilkes, Sr., two brothers Joey (Sandy) Burns and Bobby Burns; two sons Tim (Danielle), Chris (Ashley), and one daughter Becky (Kevin), 8 grandchildren: Kayla (Cory and Sadie), Drake, Karli, Logan, Josy, Little Kevin, Kyan and Hevin. On her husband's side, she is survived by 2 step-children Heather Hampton, Carl Wilkes II, and 7 step-grandchildren Jon Derek (Brittni), Carson, Caleb, Caroline, Carley(Ryan and Harper), and Bryce. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles that she cared deeply for. She also had many special friends that she had known her entire life and she will be missed dearly. She truly loved all her family and friends. As we mourn her death, we must also celebrate the self-less life she lived. Just as she gave in life, she gave in death by being an organ donor. Her loss will be felt by many, so we would like to invite family and friends to a celebration of life to share memories of the wonderful woman we all knew and loved. Please join us at the Proctorville VFW on Saturday, December 15th from 2:00 to 6:00PM. Monetary donations may be made to Hall Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
