Jared Trent Wilkes' Obituary
Jared Trent Wilkes, 26, of Marysville, OH, formerly of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on March 24, 1999, in Huntington, WV.
Jared was a 2017 graduate of Fairland High School and earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University in 2021. After graduating, he began his career with Honda in East Liberty, OH.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Jan Wilkes of Proctorville, OH; the love of his life, Ashley Segner; his paternal grandparents, Ron and Melinda Wilkes of Proctorville, OH; his maternal grandparents, Neal and Barbara Swisher of Proctorville, OH; his uncle, Darrin (Tricia) Wilkes; his aunts, Megan (Chaise) Grimm and Amy (Shane) Stickle; several cousins; and a host of many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 PM, at the funeral home.
