Diane, I remember my sister and I riding the church bus that Roger drove for Walnut Hills Baptist Church and Jason sitting behind his dad. We left town in 1982 and quit attending that church, in a couple of years, you and Roger move to Four Pole and my brother (J. J.) became friends with and Jason, number times and really too many times to count Jason and Shawn would stay or be at our house almost every day. I have gotten the pleasure of knowing Jason a good deal of my life. I'm so sorry for your loss and pray for you during this trying time in life. Rest In Peace Jason..

Dear Diane, I have been deeply saddened by Jason's passing. When I think about him, I am reminded of a happy fifth grade boy, seated in the first seat of the last row, as I faced the class. If all my students had been hard-working, cooperative, and well-behaved like Jason, then my job would have been a piece of cake. I would like to say, too, how appreciative I am for the special attention you gave the students who went from my class to yours. Your expertise helped more than you will ever know. Finally, I must offer a special thanks for the help you gave in the computer workshops to aid me in overcoming my fear of computers themselves. I've said all this, not to detract attention from your precious son, but to let you know that my year with him in my classroom, along with my years of teaching with you at Salt Rock and Barboursville Middle have all combined to flood my soul with precious memories.
