I love you, Granny. It's unbelievable to me how quickly you were gone, but I'm so thankful you were able to stay active until the very end. That consolation makes our loss a little more bearable, knowing that you were able to live as you wanted, and never had to worry about others taking care of you. You were an independent lady, and that wouldn't have been to your liking! Still, we are left with an empty seat on the couch, and no Granny to laugh at our crazy antics. Cory won't know what to do with himself, now that he will be able to sit in the front seat on road trips-- and I'll miss your commentary on everything from bedsheets to my boys' behavior. I'll look forward to the day when I'll get to see you again, pat your precious hand, and give you a long hug and a good back scratch. What to do without you ...
