Jeanette Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Jeanette Smith was born February 7, 1938 to Minnie Pearl and Isaac McElhanon in Birmingham, AL. As a child she attended Scott Elementary School and Western Olin High School. Jeanette moved to Hartford, Connecticut for several years and then moved to Indianapolis, IN. In 1967 Jeanette moved to Huntington, where she met and married Glen D. Smith in 1969. God called his angel home on March 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her hus-band and mother. Jeanette leaves to mourn one sister Bernadine (Terrance) Reed of Atlanta Ga. and one brother, Charles McElhan-non of Detroit Michigan; three children, Jerrell, Maurice, and Tashima; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Jasmine, Robin, Erica, Tyreese, Maurice II, Elleigh, Jayleigh, Stephon; great grandchildren; Rilyan, Jazalynn, Cheyenne, Kyrie, Ranjah and Rashaud; special family loves; Lisa Moten, Starr Hutcherson, Helen Mayo-Johnson, David Pitts, Dovenetta Parker, Stacey Vines, Ethymay Scott, Maxine Phillips, Mitzy Vaughn, Dwayne Johnson, Terri Courts, JayLisa Samuel, Shevone Kelley, Loretta Ford, Valerie Jackson, Michelle Craig, Edward Rahal, Elizabeth Gordon along with a host of relatives and friends.
