Jeffrey Blaine Journell's Obituary
Jeffrey Blaine Journell, 69, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away on March 15, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1955, in Huntington, WV, to the late Katherine Schilling Journell and Eldridge Journell.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene “Gene” Journell and James “Jimmy” Journell; one sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Journell Pratt; nephew, Jason Michael Pratt; four brothers-in-law, Gary Richard Byrd, Earl Plumley, Jay Pratt, and Alan Williamson.
He was employed by Shephards of Bendix for many years and had planned to retire in October 2025. He was an U.S. Army Veteran as were his two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Journell; daughter, Becki Anne Brown; son, Jeffrey Edward Journell; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Byrd Williamson and Becky Plumley; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Patty Blevins Journell and Jill Shephard Journell.
Jeffrey was a great brother and friend. He will be loved and missed so much. Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up.
