Jeffrey Schafer's Obituary
Jeffrey Schafer, 72, of Ironton, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at King’s Daughters Hospital. He was born October 4, 1953. Jeffrey was the son of Garland and Edith Schafer of Aid, Ohio. He graduated from Symmes Valley High School class of 1971 and attended Ohio University. He was an entrepreneur, recipient of the Buckeye Leadership Award and was named a Kentucky Colonel in 1988. Over the years, he was involved in many social, political, and community activities. He was a kind person who will be missed by friends and family. A private service will be held with family. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family.
