Jennifer Lin Jewell 1951 - 2016
Jennifer Lin Jewell, 65, Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Friday December 30, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born December 23, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana, daughter of the late Thomas F. and Beverly J. Shartzer Deal. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Jewell; and one sister Jo Locher. Jennifer is survived by one daughter, Melinda (Chris) Marcum; one son Cliff (Laura) Jewell; one step daughter Donna (Avery) Kirk; one grandson Christopher Marcum; one sister Janelle (Miles) Porath; niece and caregiver Michelle Fannin; sister in law and brother in law, Jo and Mike Fannin; and several nieces and nephews. She was an active member and President of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post #1064 of Huntington and established the program for wreaths across America in Huntington, was an active volunteer at veterans homes and the VA Hospital. Jennifer was ministered to and visited by Lewis Memorial Baptist Church during her illness. Memorial service will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Jason Morris.
