Jennings O Moore's Obituary
Jennings O. Moore, 96, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at home. He was born on September 6, 1925, in Huntington, WV, to the late Delmar and Lorita Ward Moore. He was also preceded in death by two sons Roger Allen Moore and David Timothy Moore; and seven siblings. He was a WWII Navy Seabee Veteran and worked for Houdaille for 34 years where he will be missed by his very large family. He is survived by his wife of 71 years and 10 months, Josephine Moore; six children; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great and great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV. Funeral Service will be held at 12 P.M. noon, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV, with B.S. Harper officiating. Burial will follow the service at Crooks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
