Jeremy Thomas Porter's Obituary
Jeremy Thomas Porter, 46, of Kitts Hill, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born March 29, 1978, to Thomas Porter and the late Betty Porter. Jeremy is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amber Porter; three children, Aiden Taft Porter (13), Russell Tate Porter (10), and Maggie Quinn Porter (7); his sister, Berea and Andrew Phillips; his aunt, Stella and uncle Junior Butcher; multiple nieces and nephews; special family of Kara and Junior Porter; Gail and Josh Sammons; Ashley and Jason Nelson; Beth and Tony Ferguson; and Bobbi and Linda Leach. Jeremy was a union Electrician out of IBEW Local 317 in Huntington for over 20 years. He was a brother Mason from the South Point lodge and he enjoyed spending time with his family and children. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and raising livestock. The family would like to extend special thanks to the St. Mary’s Oncology Department. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Darrell Brewer, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
