Jerry Wilson Alley's Obituary
Jerry Wilson Alley, 73, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at St. Marys Medical Center Ironton Campus, Ironton, Ohio. He was born October 27, 1945 in Martinsville, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Purvis Alley and Mildred Alley Skinner; and a brother Kent Alley. He was a member of McDaniels Cross Roads Church and retired from Armco Steel. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Jane Alley; two daughters Kristen (Tommy) Shepherd of Willow Wood, Ohio and Holly Moretti of Columbus, Ohio; one son Eric Alley of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren Tanner and Jensyn Shepherd, and Dominic Moretti; two brothers Dorian (Nelda) Alley of Bisbee, AZ and Brent Alley; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry loved and served his Lord and Savior. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Kitts Hill, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
