Jerry William Hayes' Obituary
Jerry William Hayes, 78, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born on April 17, 1943, in Cabell Co, WV, to the late Earl and Gertrude Martin Hayes. He was also preceded in death by his son David William Hayes; son-in-law James Lawson; and brothers Garrett, Tud, and Pete Hayes. He is survived by his wife Carol Jones Hayes of 59 years; son Jerry Edward Hayes; daughter Paula Renee Lawson of Woycheese; son Michael Andrew Hayes (Connie); nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother James "Skip" Hayes; sister Reba Crawford; brother Dennis Hayes; and numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Gordon Simpson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH.
