Jerry B. Young 1936 - 2016
Jerry B. Young, 80, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born March 7, 1936 in Las Cruces, NM to the late Buford and Bernice Young of Deming, NM. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Paul Young of Azle, TX. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pat Young; four children Wayne, Judy, and Terry all of Arizona and Timmy (Vicki) of Texas; one sister Barbara Middaugh of Deming, NM; one brother David (Lupita) of Las Vegas, NV; father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Maxine Childers; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Roger M. and Sharon Booth, Bobby and Trina Young; nephew Chuck Brady; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four great -great grandchildren; and a host of family, friends, church family, and the South Point McDonalds round table gang. The family wishes to express a very special thank you to Bobby Young for being a wonderful chauffeur and support through this difficult time and also to St. Marys and Fresenius staff for their care. Jerry always said "You can roll me up in a gunny sack and throw me in an arroyo as Im already with Jesus." Abiding by his wishes there will be no viewing or memorial service.
